Five Reasons People Stubbornly Opt For A Craigslist Hookup
The number of people that I communicate with daily on this subject is downright frightening. There are so many people out there that just haven’t got a clue as to how to meet someone online. They think that the old school Craigslist hookup is the only way to go and I have to say, they’re idiots.
As awful as it sounds for me to say that, it truly is honest to god truth. Anyone in 2018 that thinks it’s a good idea to connect with someone using a free classified ads section is a moron. If you’ve been doing so, I’m going to suggest that you STOP NOW.
If not, then great – you got lucky!
There are reasons why people choose this type of hookup versus just joining a casual dating site or downloading an app. I’ve done the research and I’m here to share all the idiotic reasons why they rather take their chances with the Craigslist killer versus using a sex dating network that’s legit, secure, and confidential. Here’s my list of reasons that I’ve come up with.

I’ll keep this straight to the point and please understand that if you fall victim to this or it any of these reasons are in alignment with the way you act, then please understand that I mean no disrespect or harm. I’m simply telling it like it is here today.
#1 They Don’t Know Any Better
I’d say one of the main reasons that people opt for these types of hookups is that they simply lack the knowledge and education needed to avoid any conflict. Smart people do their research when it comes to dating online and they spend lots of time using one or two networks that really work.
Most people using the Craigslist site and pay to play forums such as Nightshift, UtopiaGuide, and TheOtherBoard don’t know just how foolish and unnecessary it is. They think it’s their only option if they want to get laid. Well, I’m telling you right now that you’ve got plenty of other options.
#2 Their Friends Use It
Most people are sheep and they flock to whatever and wherever people tell them to go. They get bad advice and take it instead of doing their own research. That’s part of the reason why people even post things on Craigslist period.
Some buddy comes along and suggests it when they themselves have never used the site. It’s so stupid but people just do what or as suggested most of the time.
#3 It’s Free
People think that just because it’s free it’s not going to cost them anything. Well, newsflash to those folks who think that, it costs a bunch of money to use Craigslist.org and these other hookup forums.
For example, if you hook up with a cop and offer money for sex, then it’s going to cost you time in jail and legal fees. Yes, don’t be an idiot. In the United States, it’s 100% illegal to hire someone to have sex with you.
#4 They Have No Confidence
Most people have no confidence at all when it comes to meeting people online. Quite frankly, it’s sad IMHO. You’re better than that and you don’t need some free classified ad site to meet someone. Most people posting in the Craigslist hookup section are those with zero confidence that have completely run out of options. They’ll sleep with just about anything that moves and truth be told, both posters and surfers need to know that they truly are better than that.
Confidence can be boosted and you can be more successful if you put your time in on a premium site. As strange as it sounds, practice makes perfect and you’ll boost your confidence by doing so as well as get lucky more frequently if you try a real network. I promise you will 100% have a few flings if put forth the effort in the right place at the right time.
#5 They’ve Been Burned Before
I get it, some people out there have been burned by people and they think that if they do the posting on Craigslist, they’ll be the ones with the upper hand. Unfortunately, that’s not how it goes. You can get robbed, physically hurt, emotionally scarred and everything else regardless of how you use Craigslist. If you’ve been burned by a premium site or someone using one of these types of premium sites, then I sincerely apologize. Not all dating networks are created equal and people get burned when they tap into some of the sites run by scumbags.
