If you live in America, then you know just how much fun Memorial Day Weekend can be. I don’t care where you’re living in the United States, this holiday is one that means the world to me. I’m on perhaps the hottest hookup streak ever. Over the last three years, I’ve been able to successfully hookup with someone new every Memorial Day weekend.
It wasn’t always like that, but it is now and I intend on keeping things that way!

Now, if you’re shy and not an action taker then I’m sorry to say but your S.O.L. and it’s nobody’s fault but your own. If you are a go-getter with ambition and drive then these tips will help you ease your way into a new booty call or some holiday fun time.
The first thing that you need to do is start talking about the weekend with friends. Start early AF and if you’re not talking with people trying to formulate a party plan at the very beginning of the week, then life is going to be much harder for you this weekend. You need to formulate a plan so that you have something semi-enjoyable or appealing to approach a girl with. In other words, get some plans going so you’ve got somewhere to go.
Newsflash: Throwing a cookout in your backyard with two people doesn’t count either.
Next, if you’re able to attend a party in an awesome location, say the beach or a place with a pool then do just that!
Now that you’ve got some leverage with the events planned, you’ll want to connect to the hookup site of your choice. If you’re not a member of any of them, register on a network strictly for meeting people online. There are a ton of them out there. I’ve listed my favorites on the homepage. You need to join one of those networks and fill out your profile entirely.
Once you’ve done that, it’s time to connect with some locals. Using the geo filter, begin filtering to people within a 15 to 20-mile radius. Anything further than that is just too far to commit. Connect with those people and start messaging them immediately. Attempt to strike up a conversation asking what their plans are for the weekend. Don’t be afraid to come right out and ask if they like parties, cookouts, beach parties, keg parties or whatever kind of party you have tentatively planned to attend or open as an option.
You’ll want to invite them to go with you. That’s an incentive for them to want to meet up for some fun during the weekend. It opens the situation up and makes things less awkward or scary considering there will be other people at the party.
Assuming you get them to attend the party with you, you’ll want to play it cool. I mean, don’t go getting all touchy-feely right away. But you do want to start drinking to take the edge off. The good news is that the person you’re at the party with met you on a casual dating site and you’ve just started taking shots, keg stands or had a couple of beers with them.
Guess what, that makes people horny and they typically end up wanting to bang at some point.
Get a bit touchy with them and connect physically. When the time is right, ask if they’d like to go back to your place to keep the party going (important guys, stock the fridge and have food/drinks).
