If you’ve used any dating website and you’ve had the unfortunate experience of dealing with online dating scams then you’ll appreciate this section of my website. For starters, just like many of you out there, I too have been scammed before.
In fact, I’ve probably been scammed online more times than you just due to the sheer number of dating sites that I’ve tested out (so that you don’t have to try them). That said, I’ve recently decided to add a section to this site called the Scam Alert section.
This section will be the main area of the site where I expose every single scam that I’ve ever come across. I’ve studied so many different sites and casual sex dating apps, tactics and anything else you can think of that a typical dating website would have if it were, in fact, a scam.
Now, that being said, during my studies, I was able to determine which sites were also great online dating sites to join if you want to get laid.
There are some sites that actually work pretty damn well. I use some of them to this day. I’m not here to talk about the ones that work. I’m here to expose the shitty sites that without a doubt do not work!

How I Identify Scam Dating Sites
Here are some of the criteria that I used when determining if a site was a scam or legit…
Initial Communications
I put a significant amount of weight on my initial communications with people once I joined each site. For example, if I started to receive a significant amount of messages from users without even having my profile completed, this counted heavily against the website.
I know that many sites use bots and other fakes users by sending messages to new members as if they are real people. If I received a significant number of messages on day one with no real profile then the site was considered to be a scam right away.
Members Profiles
I paid close attention to the profiles of the members close to me. I made a point to check to see if I had seen the profiles on other dating sites that had previously been flagged as scams. If the members were all “10s” then I knew it was likely too good to be true.
No dating site has only hot girls. There are always girls that you won’t find attractive on a site. It’s just the nature of using an online dating site. I made it a point to immediately flag a site as a scam alert if the profile photos looked fake or too cookie-cutter like.
Dating Company
I investigated the companies behind the dating sites themselves. I did this in order to determine whether or not they were previously involved in some sort of scam. If the company was already involved in a dating scam, then it didn’t bode very well.
User Reviews
I took user reviews from other websites into consideration. There are plenty of online reviews of dating sites and I did my due diligence on each one of the sites. In the event that I came across a site that had a ton of negative reviews then I immediately flagged the site as a scam.
These are just a few pieces of criteria that I had used to determine whether or not a site was legit or a scam. Be sure to read my reviews in full before making any buying decisions.

What are the typical signs to be on the lookout for in many dating site scams?
A piece of cake, you must pay close attention to a few things and some I’ve mentioned above. Be on the lookout for strange or cookie-cutter messaging. You also want to pay close attention to dating company terms and conditions.
Look to see if they make any mention of auto-generated messages or hiring people to communicate with users as fake members. These are the two main things to look out for.
How many Internet dating scams have you come across in your lifetime?
This is hard to answer. I’ve literally seen thousands of sites that looked like shitty scams but I didn’t take any action on them. I have not bothered to review 90% of the sites I’ve come across. That just shows you how bad some sites really can be. Another fascinating reason to stick to my top list of sites.
Do companies lookout for Nigerian dating scammers?
Most of the companies that run and maintain the network of sites that I use all hire people to protect their users from Nigerian scams. They constantly monitor sites 24/7 and even delete profiles that look suspicious.
That’s essentially what you are paying for when you upgrade your membership. It’s better security and results too! One very important thing I want to mention is that some sites have been created to house nothing other fake scammer profiles.

Someone told me that all dating sites are scams, is this true?
Whoever told you this is a fucking liar. They have no idea what they are talking about. In fact, they may even tell you that just to deter you from joining a site.
You must remember that it makes it more difficult for them to hookup if you are a member. Don’t listen to anybody else other than me.
