School Sex Scandals: 8 Teachers Accused Of Hanky Panky With Their Jailbait Students
Engaging in a sexual relationship with an underage student is disturbing to say the least. Plus, it’s an abuse of power dynamics between adults and children.
Many of these cases often involve adults in positions of authority, such as principals, gym teachers, and counselors. The uniting factor in these widely publicized incidents is a sexy young female teacher is accused of committing crimes that directly affect the children entrusted to her care.
This week, in a stunning discovery, the world was shocked to find out that Rochelle Cressman pled guilty to charges of repeatedly sexually assaulting a student for seven months. He was only 14 years old. She showed up to court on Tuesday, November 10, and was accused of 3 counts of statutory sexual assault with a teenager.
The Pennsylvania State Police informed us all that the adult, Cressman, initiated the sexual relationship with her young student. The unidentified boy was continuously abused between September 2018-April 2019.
Is Cressman the only sexually driven female teacher to commit acts of sexual deviance with students that are underage? Not even close. Pamela Smart, Mary Kay LeTourneau, and others have also committed these downright dastardly crimes as the world sat back and watched their downfall.
Sexdatingapps.com takes a deep dive into this topic now. We’ll look at sexually deviant teachers with no moral compass willing to have sexual relations with their underage students.
Rochelle Cressman
Cressman, who was once a gym teacher to middle school-aged children, pled guilty to sexually assaulting a student, who was only 14 years old and has done so repeatedly. On Tuesday, November 10, she showed up to court and pled guilty to 3 counts of statutory sexual assault with a teenager. Each of these guilty pleas required payment of a $25,000 fine, plus a potential 20 years in prison for each crime.
Speaking of crimes, or sexual assault crimes took place from September 2018-April 2019, and she assaulted her victim twice per week at her homes in Titusville and Oil Creek Township, where she previously lived.
The Times Observer tells us that she even threatened her 14-year-old victim and said that if you let anyone know about their secret encounters, she would hurt herself, hurt him, and do so if other people learned about the truth. Because of the threats, the boy chose to remain quiet, but the teenage boys and parents eventually found out and got word of the situation.
In The Meadville Tribune, the newspaper added to the story and mentioned that the mother of the victim found out about his relationship with the teacher. She let the authorities know about her suspicions right away, and an investigation quickly ensued. After quizzing her son regarding his encounters with Cressman, he mentioned having sex with her about 10 times and also said that other sexual encounters took place.
Mary Kay LeTourneau
The 34-year-old Letourneau was a married woman when, in 1996, she first started having a sexual relationship with Vili Fualaau, her 12-year-old student. During a 2015 interview with Barbara Walters, Mrs. Letourneau mentioned that the incident happened late at night and it led to more than just a kiss. She thought the encounter would end with a kiss, but it didn’t.
The police discovered the 12-year-old Faulaau and Letourneau at the Des Moines Marina, parked in a minivan. At the time, the teacher, who only taught the sixth grade, lied to the police and said that the boy was actually 18 years old. Soon after, she was arrested for 2nd-degree child rape. Soon after, she learned that she was pregnant with her 12-year-old victim’s child.
She then pled guilty to the 2nd-degree child rape charges and pled her sentence down to three months in jail and probation. The plea bargain was approved by the judge, but only if Letourneau agreed to never have any contact with Fualaau again.
Upon release, she was arrested for a parole violation after being caught with Fualaau once more. After getting out of jail, of which Faulaau was 21 years old at the time, the victim filed a court motion to reverse the no-contact charges against his child rapist. The request was granted by the judge and the two of them were married in 2005. 14 years later, in 2019, they got a divorce and earlier this year Letourneau died after battling colon cancer and left Fualaau with her entire estate.
Deborah Lafave
As a teacher in Florida, Lafave became a notorious monster after it was discovered that she had an affair with a student who is only 14 years old. The New York Daily News shared that in 2005, the teacher pled guilty to four or more sexual encounters with a student that she taught at the middle school, in the year prior. At the time that this scandal unfolded, she was supposedly a happily married woman.
Instead, she was now facing up to 30 years in prison, but her attorney pled with the court to keep Lafave out of the Florida State Women’s Penitentiary, because she was attractive and didn’t belong in that type of hellhole, in which she would be a piece of raw meat thrown into the lions.
Her unnamed victim did not want to stand trial, which makes sense since it was such a young person, to begin with. So, Lafave wound up pleading guilty to 2 counts of lewd and lascivious battery. She wound up getting away with probation and house arrest, which was a lucky break on her part. Later on, she wound up suing the state of Florida to end her parole and she won the case. Instead of completing her full probation, it was over in the early part of 2014.
Pamela Smart
In a New Hampshire high school, Mrs. Smart was the school’s media coordinator. As a member of the faculty, she met Billy Flynn, a 15-year-old student. Believe it or not, she was there to teach a program that was designed to help teenage students cope with drug abuse and sexual abuse. The 22-year-old adult began having an affair with the 15-year-old Flynn. It’s then alleged that she convinced him to kill Gregg Smart, her husband.
In 1990, Billy Flynn and 3 friends killed Gregg Smart while Pamela was away from home at a board meeting. The New York Post said that Patrick Randall, a friend of Flynn, put a knife up to Mr. Smart’s throat. He held the knife there until Flynn eventually shot him in the head.
Pamela Smart fully admitted to seducing Flynn, but she wholeheartedly complained that she was innocent of any charges related to her husband’s murder. After making deals and testifying against Pamela Smart, Flynn and his 3 friends were eventually released from prison. Joyce Maynard used this case as inspiration for her novel To Die For, which eventually became a movie starring Matt Dillon and Nicole Kidman.
Brittany Zamora
In Goodyear, Arizona, Brittany Zamora was a successful teacher of the sixth grade. Eventually, she was accused of sexual misconduct. They claimed that she was having sexual relations with a boy who was only 13 years old. It was alleged that she had oral sex in her car and classroom with the young man.
Eventually, the parents of the 13-year-old discover the truth about the unlawful encounter by looking at an app on their son’s cell phone. Because of the crime, Zamora received a 20-year prison sentence. After being convicted, she claims to be a genuinely good person, but someone who made a deeply regrettable mistake. Also, during her sentencing, she mentioned to the judge that she is a threat to society and respects and obeys the law.
AZ Central mentions that Zamora was accused of having sexual intercourse with her 13-year-old male student on 3 separate occasions. They also were known to exchange text messages of a sexually explicit nature, the news outlet tells us. She was even accused of sending her nude photos to the boy.
Alexandria Vera
A 24-year-old English teacher named Alexandria Vera was teaching in Texas at the time of being accused of sexual assault, claiming she assaulted a 13-year-old student, the Houston Chronicle tells us. An accusation against Vera was made by the police, stating she became pregnant with her student’s child and had an abortion to cover up the affair. Allegedly, she told the police was really and truly in love with her student.
The teacher was handed a 10-year prison sentence to pay for her crimes. Afterward, she tried to claim that his parents fully accepted the relationship, according to information in the Daily Mail. Her therapist mentioned that domestic violence was part of her family history and influenced her. The therapist also said that she believed her client was truly and madly in love with the young student.
Melanie Suzanne Lippert & Michelle Louise Ghirelli
In 2014, both of these teachers were convicted of sleeping with one of their male students during a camping trip that was riddled with drug abuse. KTLA says that Ghirelli and Lippert took five of their students on a three-day camping trip. Lippert organized the trip, although the school didn’t approve of it. Ghirelli was the one to supply the cocaine and alcohol to the teenagers, and eventually had sex with a 17-year-old student, which Lippert facilitated.
Lippert pled guilty to 1 count of unlawful sexual intercourse, which is a felony, and received a 3-year sentence of formal probation. She also went to jail for three months as well. Ghirelli, on the other hand, pled guilty to 1 count of unlawful sexual intercourse as well as 1 count of furnishing a controlled substance, which are both felonies. She received a sentence of 180 days in jail and 3 years of formal probation.
