Plenty Of Fish Dating Site Sucks So Bad!
Plenty of Fish is a popular dating site that I could not wait to try. I typically avoid mainstream sites but decided to give it a shot. I had heard that it was actually free and it’s one of the most talked-about modern dating sites on the internet. I was surprised to find out that it was actually free to use, even though it was limited without paying for a membership. The only thing left to find out as if it was effective. Given the number of members, I was hoping to bang some girls but it wasn’t very effective at all. POF.com actually sucks. The free version as well as the upgrade. Find out why I think this site is a piece of shit.
A Summary of What to Expect on Plenty Of Fish
The signup process at PlentyofFish.com is pretty extensive. They make you jump through hoops answering stupid questions. So, you have pretty much created a full detailed profile completed before you even enter the site. The goal is supposed to be to share as many details about yourself as possible so that the site can attempt to match you with an ideal date. I found that, while I could do quite a bit on the site without paying, I didn’t have any luck with any of the ladies I messaged.
In order gain more exposure on the site, you must pay for a membership. The perks of paying for membership are showing up first in the Meet Me section, being able to unlock all user-profiles and content, tracking your messages and seeing if they were read or not, not having to deal with ads, seeing who viewed your profile, getting more exposure and lastly being able to send 3 gifts a day to people. Big fucking deal, right! Most of that stuff is pretty basic for badass dating sites that I typically use and now I’m paying for it for nothing on Plenty of Fish. Oh, I forgot to mention that you can upload up to 16 photos as well.
I must say that it was refreshing to find out that a few of the girls were real that I talked to on the site, but it wasn’t as exciting as I thought it was going to be. I had almost no success until I got more exposure by paying for a membership. After that, I interacted with more girls on the site but most of them were not into just banging. I’m not sure how many, if any, were part of the site, but I had to deal with multiple spam messages, requests to view webcam sites, requests to join porn sites, and even a request to purchase erotic services. It was a fuck show to say the least. I had an awful experience and won’t ever join again.
The Messaging at PlentyofFish.com is a Mess
The best way I can describe the messaging in free mode is boring. It’s hard to get any girls to answer you at all and you start to feel like you just don’t have enough exposure. You get messages here and there, but they always end up being someone trying to sell you something. I thought for sure that, when I paid for a membership, I would start to see more action on the site. I saw more action alright. A whole lot more people trying to contact me and take more of my money. I did get rejected once, so she must have been real. At that was one real interaction.
Phone Conversations
I was given plenty of numbers at PlentyofFish.com, but I didn’t feel comfortable calling any of them. All of them came from girls who seemed shady like they were trying to sell me something or like these were escorts or something. Sometimes it seemed like they were just trying to get my number before we even messaged each other. They didn’t know shit about me so I passed on all of them.
Cost of Added Exposure On Plenty Of Fish
It doesn’t hurt to try the site free for a while, but if you’re brave enough to try your luck at a paid membership, you’ll be paying $37.17 for a 3-month membership, $53.55 for a 6-month membership or $85.47 for a 1-year membership. Be aware that, once you sign up for a paid membership, you will automatically be charged after the term that you initially agreed to expire. You will continue to be charged until you cancel. It’s quite typical, but what bothers me most is that the price I paid for the membership was comparable to great sex dating sites that actually get me laid versus this bullshit.
A First Date Didn’t Happen
I ended up being so put off by PlentyofFish.com that I think I would be nervous to meet anyone in person that I found on the site. There’s just not enough security and there are too many bogus profiles. If they had better regulations it might be a better site. As of now, it’s not a site that can be trusted.
Conclusion: Plenty Of Fish Sucks And Didn’t Get Me Laid
Maybe it’s not impossible to hook up on PlentyofFish.com, but it didn’t work for me, and the fact that you can communicate for free means that a lot of outside scammers take advantage of the situation and solicit their goods or services. If you have a lot of time to waste with little hope of success then try it, it’s free. Otherwise, you should look for sex online elsewhere. It’s not worth paying the extra money for a site that sucks as bad as Plenty of Fish.
What dating site has a network as large as POF that guarantees I’ll get laid?
I thought you’d never ask. There are plenty of that are part of the Global Personals Network that has millions of members that actually want to fuck! Check out any of the sites listed below and I will bet my life on you finding someone to fuck.
