You can’t tell by the name, but LoveandSeek is a Christian dating site that appeals to religious people who are looking for a date with a person who is religious as well.It kind of bugs me when sites use religion to fool people into paying for a service that is not genuine. I gave it a chance even though I read some things in their terms of service that were troubling. I wanted proof that the site was not legit before I dismissed it as fake. What I found was the same thing I find all the time. I found a service that gives the perception off as being a real professional dating app and site, but their main motivation is to take your money. If you meet a real person on the site, it’s a fluke.

After some investigation, I found out that LoveandSeek.com was owned by People Media. This is a group of dating sites like OurTime.com, SingleParentMeet.com and BlackPeopleMeet.com. I reviewed two of these sites before and I determined that both were dishonest sites. I figured that this site was the same, but I checked it out to give it a fair chance.

The first thing I found is something that is typical of large dating site networks. They use all your info and profile pics on other sites on their network. If you will look at the terms of the site, you will see that you agree to this when you sign up. They reserve the right to use all your info best they see fit. What they do with it is create fake profiles across their network of sites, so they can use your info to fool others into joining.

Another thing I found in their terms is that they fabricate profiles and say it is for the purpose of testing the site to improve your service quality. This is just a fancy way of saying that they create fake profiles to fool you into thinking the site is real. They also send you computer automated messages from these profiles.

My Experience

I did not have a good feeling about this site because I was familiar with other sites on the network and I took the time to read their terms. Well, to be honest, I joined anyway and it was exactly as I suspected. I started receiving messages and chat requests from girls that were so gorgeous, they were too good to be true. You are not allowed to respond to these messages until you pay for a membership.

After I paid for a membership, which was admittedly fairly cheap at $14.99 a month, I was not surprised to find that these women were not interested in talking anymore. This is typical for a fake dating site because these are automated messages that are sent to you to get you to pay. I continued a valiant effort for the entire 30 days I was a member of the site and not one of my communications ended in any type of genuine connection.

Site Features

Since LoveandSeek is a religious dating site, they make sure to give you options to indicate how involved you are with your church and what denomination you are. The largest population of users on the site are women, but I believe that most of them are not real. One feature that is kind of cool is allowing you to upload large photos. Also, a personality profile asks questions that help narrow down your search for a compatible date, but there are not enough questions to make it as detailed as it should be.

There are only 11 questions involving you rating your personality traits and the activities that you like to do. There are ads on the site and they are made more troublesome by the fact that many of them look like they are part of the site. They do this so you will click on their ads and you are taken to another site.

Conclusion

If you can’t trust a Christian dating site, to be honest, who can you trust? LoveandSeek uses a lot of extras like a personality test and essay questions to match you perfectly with a date, but you don’t get matched with anyone but a fake profile. They admit in their terms that they reuse your info on their other sites, so it’s obvious that this is not a site for Christians or anyone else looking for a genuine dating experience.

I can’t really say that I’m the type to even use a Christian dating site. I only did so to be able to provide feedback for my review. I’m more into having casual sex versus getting into a serious relationship. Heck, I don’t even like using dating apps like Match or even more relaxed social apps like Tinder.
