The presentation of BlackPeopleMeet.com is impressive. A video plays on the front page when you visit the site that is high quality and entertaining, but it never quite lives up to its image in functionality. The website is owned by People Media. The same company as Match.com, Chemistry.com, and OurTime.com. It’s basically the same site with a different niche. I had tried out both Match.com and Chemistry.com before and did not like the results.
Sadly, the same goes for this site. It’s one big network of bogus sites that mostly exist to take your money and I believe that the few people that do hook up on the site are flukes because almost everyone I encountered on the site may have been fake. That’s just based on my personal opinion and experience using the site.
Check out my full review below and details of my experience so you will know what to expect. There are textbook warning signs that ring true across many other terrible dating sites. Once you learn the warning signs, you’ll be able to recognize a fake site more easily when you see it.
Here’s My Full Rundown Of The BlackPeopleMeet.com Site [Review]
Many times, a dating site will let you know how they plan to deceive you in their terms and conditions agreement. You must agree to these terms before you sign in, so it’s best that you read as much of it as possible.
Much of it is legal disclaimers, but they usually admit to their disingenuous practices a little over half way down the page. For this site; I found it in the section titled Communications and Test Profiles.
In this section; they tell you that employees of the company or affiliated companies create test profiles to test the functionality of the service. This gives them an excuse to populate their site with fake profiles and send you fake messages. I have seen these kinds of practices more times than I can count and BlackPeopleMeet.com is no different.
Another way they deceive you and create fake profiles to fool other users is reusing all your profile data. When you sign up you agree to allow the site to take all your information and use it to create bogus profiles to fool others. This means that they are not only fooling you; they are using you to fool other people.
They also use the common tactic of insisting that their service is free, but not allowing you to send or respond to any messages until you have paid their monthly membership costs. Check out my experience below and I will let you know exactly how they tried to fool me and the red flags I found.
My BPM.com Experience
I remained optimistic as I signed up for BlackPeopleMeet.com hoping that I would have a different experience than I did on Match or Chemistry.com. Sadly, the same things started happening.
I started getting messages and chat requests from beautiful black women, but I could not respond unless I signed up. This is where you should be careful. If you enter your credit card info and proceed without looking closely, you will be charged a full 6 months of membership. You must manually change it to a 1-month membership.
If you get charged for the 6 months by accident, you will not be refunded. Anyway, once I got in, it was just as I suspected. None of the women who wrote me initially would respond to my messages.
All the messages I sent for the first full month were either ignored or were answered with computer automated messages. I did not have an experience with a real person the entire month.
You can send messages and chat with users as well as post audio and video messages. There is no matching service to connect you with compatible singles.
You must manually search using basic search filters. The mobile app allows you to send and receive emails and flirts, view profiles and photos and see who has viewed your profile.
Cost To Join
BlackPeopleMeet.com is a bit cheaper than a lot of dating sites I have tried, but that doesn’t mean that it was worth the money. The standard monthly subscription is $14.99. You can purchase a 3-month membership for all little over $35 and save the most money by purchasing 6 months for a little over $60.

Conclusion: After Getting A BlackPeopleMeet.com Login, I’ll Never Recommend This Site To Anyone
BlackPeopleMeet.com looks like a good ebony dating site, but it’s all looks and no substance. It might have a nice looking video on the main page, but the functionality does not fit the presentation.
The features are basic and they use fake profiles and computer automated messages like any other bogus dating site. I suggest you avoid sites like this and stick to sites that offer a genuine experience. I used this one regularly for a full month and nothing genuine happened the entire time.
Now I don’t waste any time using this site. Instead, I spend all my time using the sites listed below and they work just as well if not better than a site dedicated to just meeting black people. Let me know what you think of them. I’d strongly suggest that you first join the top ranked Fling mobile dating site and then take it from there. Here is a list of all the best…
