Clover Dating App Reviews: A Swipe Tinder-Like Technology Network
I recently came across the Clover app. It’s a dating app that encompasses the typical selecting of users in order to connect with them. This reminded me of the popular Tinder app that so many Americans choose to spend time on.
Given that it’s one of the more popular apps in the iTunes store, I felt that it was only proper for me to give it a whirl. Anyone that’s familiar with the standard swiping and freemium to premium app options will get exactly how this works.
I decided to dive deeper into the app and spend a few weeks trying to hook up using it. Whether you’re looking to sext someone, video chat, meet for a quick bang, or even something more serious, then you’ll want to keep reading.
Clover Dating App Review (My Personal Experience)
Based on everything that I’ve done on this app over the last few weeks, I’ve been able to determine that their objective is quite simple. The Clover.co is on a mission to attract a huge network of people and does this by appealing to the masses. Very similar to how the other large app networks function.
They incorporate the use of pinpoint search functions that help narrow things down and focus on the specific area and type of person that you’re trying to meet. Before I get too deep into things here, let me cover some of the basics, like the registration and login process.
Signup and Login Function of Clover
All I did was download the Clover app after visiting the official website. I was prompted to enter some basic info such as my email, desired password, and all that jazz. The quickest way would have been to just connect via Facebook. This says time with creating a profile and does it all for you in a sense.
Once I was signed up and I turned on the geolocation settings, I was able to complete my bio by adding details such as my age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, location, and everything else you can imagine.
The next part was the most important part where I selected the I was looking to find someone for some casual dating. As for the login process, enter your email and password and you’re good to go. Once you’re logged into the app on your mobile phone, that’s all there is to it. It will keep you logged in for a long time.
The Premium Upgrade Offer
Yes, the app is completely free to join and use, but they have an upgrade feature. Soon as I finished that process I was immediately offered a chance to upgrade my membership status. They gave me the option to upgrade for free for a period of 7 days. At the end of the trial period, it cost $19.99 a month to keep my premium status.
You’re probably wondering what that got me exactly. Well, the premium membership gives users the option to chat with as many users as they’d like. It also allows you to send “gifts” to users, photos, videos, audio messages, and more. It also opens up a wide array of search options that helps you better discover the perfect casual sex partner or date so-to-speak.
The Questions
This app does ask questions similar to many of the other dating apps such as OkCupid and eHarmony. There are only 20 simple questions that you can even skip should you choose to do so.
The App Users / Members
Many of the members are the same type of people that join Tinder and OKCupid. Having said that, I did come across a few that were more open to having a no-strings-attached encounter. However, most of the users were looking for something a bit more serious.
The good news is that there are a plethora of people within the network and they seem to be quite active as well. If you’re brave enough to take the plunge, you may decide to check out one of the “mixers” that the company sponsors. This will give you ample opportunity to meet multiple members all at once. I’m not saying this approach is for me, but it’s an option that you do have.

The App Has Downfalls
There are some downfalls of using this app. In my personal opinion, the app is annoying to use if you’re only using the free version. That’s due to the constant upgrade notification that pops up while using the app.
Another downfall is that unless you upgrade, you’re not going to have the option to send videos, lots of messages, and chat.
If you’re on the market to find a fling, then you might be disappointed due to the fact that many of the users are using the site for mainstream connections and long-term relationships.

The site uses a technology known as SSL which secures the site and your payment information. They’ve also got a pretty solid customer support system as well.
Ranking
This app ranks pretty high in the iTunes and Android stores with close to 5-star ratings and almost 10,000 consumer reviews. The highest rankings are in the United States market which means most of the users are likely based here.
Conclusion: Clover App Is Good But Not Best For Hookups
The Clover app might be a good choice for someone that’s familiar with Tinder but wants to branch out to another network in order to find someone to connect with. However, if you’re looking for a quick bang, it might take more effort on your part than if you were to use another service.
The price is fair and the technology is pretty current, so on that front, it’s a winner. I just personally prefer to surround myself with users that just want to hook up and that’s it.
