XPickup.com Review: I Found Fake Profiles, Fake Messages & High Premium Costs
I’m willing to try just about any dating app or site that exists today. That’s the exact reason why I’ve decided to check out the XPickup.com dating service. My main goal in doing so was to either hook up or determine exactly why most aren’t successful using it, simple as that.
Some dating and hookup sites concentrate on presentation and various features trying to get you interested in their services. Others just put up a generic layout with a bunch of profiles grouped together in various ways. They do this in hopes of getting you to sign up and upgrade so they can take your money.
I Reviewed XPickup: Here’s How My Experience Was Using The Features
Shocker, XPickup.com falls into the latter category. I was not impressed with the homepage. It has a color scheme similar to Facebook, taking advantage of the popularity of social media, but besides that, there is nothing that catches your eye.
I didn’t want to judge a book by its cover so I investigated to see if I could find signs of fraud. The evidence started on the main page and it just got worse. Check out the details of my report below.
XPickup.com Scam and Login Process (All Revealed)
I found the first piece of evidence before I even entered my e-mail address, password, and birth date. Before you can register, you must accept their terms.
Read this little paragraph and you will see that they mention that you are agreeing to receive communications from computer-generated virtual profiles, targeted to your interests.
Agreeing To Virtual Profile Terms
In this one little sentence, they are admitting to both creating fake profiles and sending you fake messages. How can you trust a site when they tell you that they deceive you before you even sign in?
Don’t let them lie to you. A legit hookup service does not need to create fake profiles and send you messages from a computer program. A legit site does everything they can to avoid these things.
Login Process
Virtual profiles are enough to get me to leave a site immediately, but I continued inside for the sake of the investigation. All I had to was enter a username, my sex, the sex I was looking for, and my location.
The final step is uploading an optional photo and entering a short description with a minimum of 5 words and you are registered. They do a clever little trick where they censor some of the photos because the safe mode is on.
You can turn off the safe mode at the top and nude profiles pics are revealed. All the girls are extremely cute and young and that is another sign of a fake site.
A timeline goes down the left side of the page like a social media page with updates and, of course, a lot of the updates consist of hot girls posting nude pics.
On the right side, there’s a section of members online, latest profiles, and a section ready to be filled by profiles you viewed, who viewed you, your likes, and who likes you.
Internal Upgrade Requests
I was surprised that you could click on the girls’ photos and even see them in full size, even when you have a standard free membership.
When you attempt to send a message to one of them, you are taken to their upgrade page where you must choose a membership package. It’s a little on the high side for a dating site and extremely high for a site that is full of fake profiles.
Cost Is Too High
The standard monthly charge is $29.95 a month. You can save 30% by purchasing 3 months at $59.95 and that equals $19.98 a month. You can save 40% by purchasing 6 months at $99.95 and that equals $16.66 a month.
Premium membership allows you to send and reply to messages, include contact info in messages, get priority ranking in search results, watch XXX movies, and get a premium indicator on your profile.
Contacting Them
Based on my review, the company makes it super difficult to connect with the support team. They don’t even have a phone number displayed or a Contact Us page.
If you’re looking to reach them, then you’ll have to send an email to support@xpickup.com to get anywhere.
Conclusion: XPickup Is A Huge Waste Of Your Time
XPickup was a failure in my eyes. Even if XPickup.com had real profiles, I would hesitate to say that it was worth the price. It simply doesn’t have enough real users or even a decent search engine (IMO). Your only sorting options are by location and age range.
The Live Sex section isn’t even part of this site. They just direct you to a live webcam site that you must pay for. Don’t waste your time on this one. It’s pretty obvious to me based on my personal opinion that it’s nothing but a fake dating service.
