Twoo.com Review: Personal Investigation Conducted (2017)
I recently opted to dive into a dating site called Twoo. The main reason why I decided to investigate things with this site is due to the fact that I’ve received lots of questions about the dating site, Android, and iPhone dating apps over the years. To be completely honest, I hadn’t heard of this site at all until someone told me about it.
If it weren’t for one of my readers, I may not have ever come across this dating service. That’s neither here nor there at this point. I’m just here to share what I learned throughout my complete investigation.
My Twoo Review And Why I’d Pass On It
The main question that you’re probably asking yourself is simply, “What is Twoo?” and “Should I join it?” Before taking any type of a stab at this, I suggest reading the review.
Why?
Because you might not like what I have to say about it. Just trust me on this one and keep reading. Due to the number of scam dating sites out there you’ll want to use all the knowledge at your fingertips in order to make a well-informed decision to pass or join. That said, here goes nothing.
What I Took Into Consideration
There are some questions that I asked myself when investigating the Twoo website. I focused on what aspects people bitched to me about, whether or not a fee was involved, the type of info they collected if communications were bot driven and other things of that nature.
Here’s what you need to know about Twoo and my findings…
While I typically do not call out sites, at first sight, I do when I have a gut feeling about it. This time, my gut feeling told me that something was fishy about this site. I guess you could say that I was right.
Annoying Auto Messaging
Just as I suspected, the auto messages came in soon as I had registered for Twoo. The messaging is annoying, invasive, and absolutely ridiculous as far as I’m concerned.
When you create a profile on the Twoo website you must abide by the terms of service. As a result of creating the profile (not even a good one), you’ve joined and agreed to the promotional messaging and crazy annoying communications. The messages that they send you are not genuine and they’re not from real people. While some may seem as though they are real, but for the most part I’d say all messages are 100% fake and automated.
Check the specific terms and you’ll notice that they state that Two has the right to communicate with you via email, text, phone and basically any other way you can think of.
Your Twoo Data Is Used
Soon as you sign up on Twoo.com and you’ve got to start worrying about what they’re going to do with your data. I’m not talking about just your name either. I’m talking about photos, age, things you write, interests and so much more.
You’ve given them the permission to do all this and it’s all buried deep in their terms and conditions. The main thing this site does is use your information to populate other sites that Massive Media Match NV owns and operates.
Are you okay with a dating site using your information?
Neither am I.
Paying For The Service
Twoo makes you pay for their services via a subscription. If you want to get anywhere you’ll need to upgrade to a premium membership. The initial “trial” period gets extended into a subscription should you not cancel. The subscription that you opt into will cost will be between $9.99 and $69.99 depending on the service you sign up for.
If you want to cancel, you better plan on canceling within 24 hours of the subscription rebilling. Either that or you’ll be sorry.
Fake or Ghosted Profiles?
Yup, you heard that correctly. Some sites use fake member profiles which are ghost profiles or computer-driven profiles. For the most part, these profiles are driven by computers, contractors, or paid employees.
Does Twoo partake in any of this nonsense? Unfortunately, all signs point towards just that. Based on what I’ve learned the Twoo.com site is not a legit and genuine dating network. Instead, it’s simply one of those sites that incorporate fake messaging to get you to upgrade.
Site Support
If you’re already a member of Twoo.com and you want to cancel your membership, then I suggest you send them an email about it. Send a message to info-en@twoo.com and let them know you want to cancel your membership.
Conclusion: Twoo Isn’t Worth Your Time
Given that cost involved, the potential personal data use, and the auto-generated messaging, this site isn’t worth any serious casual daters time or money. The terms are unfavorable and something that you’ll be better off dodging for sure. Don’t worry, there are plenty of other options for you out there if you’re looking to join a site that works.
Could Twoo.com help you hook up? Yes, it’s possible but I’m not taking my chances over a long period of time to deal with all this nonsense. Clear as crystal, I am all set.
