Qwikmeet App Review: How It Works, Pricing, Pros, Cons, and More!
Dating life is not the easiest thing in the world and the online dating services that are supposed to help you aren’t always what they’re cracked up to be. Believe me when I tell you that I get it. Why do you think I decided to put pieces like this Qwikmeet review together?
Things are supposed to be simple. You should be able to hop onto a dating site, create your profile, and search for whatever it is you want, whether that’s a relationship or just some fun.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t exactly work like that. While there are some awesome dating apps out there, others miss the mark by a mile either unintentionally or by being illegitimate. You wouldn’t even believe how many other sites out there are just trying to scam someone.
You’re not getting tricked on my watch though. If you’re gonna be taking the time to listen to me, the least I can do is ensure that you’re using a quality dating app that gives you a fair chance to find someone.
Where does Qwikmeet fall on that spectrum? Are the other users real? Is it expensive? Is exchanging contact details a drag? These are all great questions! Allow me to answer them for you and more!

Are you looking to have some consensual fun with someone? Well, this may just be the right place for you, but hold on since there’s more I need to say.
What Was the Testing Process?
Why should you be listening to what I have to say? Well, my testing process for these sites is pretty airtight, and it’s allowed me to give some pretty solid advice so far.
I start by creating an account and paying attention to the interface and the security of the whole thing. Of course, I’m also testing how easy it is to get started.
From there, I don’t get too active until a couple of days pass. If there’s one thing I know, people don’t just start clicking on a new profile and sending tons of messages. The moment I see that the attention I’m getting is way over the top, I start to get suspicious but look for other signs that I’m being scammed.
Another big one is the predatory practices that are just trying to get me to spend some money. On the flip side, if things look legit, I’ll hang around, test out the membership options, and try to get lucky with some of the members.
What? No one said I couldn’t do my job and have fun too, right? If nothing else, it’s just another way for me to help you prepare yourself for whatever experience comes your way.
What Is the Website Design Like?
Qwikmeet may not have a ton of extra features, but one thing I can say is that it’s visually well put together. Some of these dating apps look like they were designed in the 80s. I’m not saying the 80s were a bad time, but a modern design is always going to go a long way.
Apart from the visual appeal, it’s also very intuitive to navigate. There are no cumbersome menus and you’ll never feel lost. You have a search bar at your fingertips to help you find people, or if you want, just scroll through the suggested user list.
Nothing takes more than a few clicks. I’m a firm believer that there’s a certain elegance in simplicity.
How Much Does Qwikmeet Cost?
Remember how I said Qwikmeet was free until you want to communicate? Let’s talk about that. It’s nice to know that there aren’t officially any paid versions hiding a bunch of additional features but I can’t say that this is better.
So, after barely touching the site, I come back to see that I have several likes and several messages, which begins to make me wonder. Are these automated messages?
I didn’t want to assume anything, so I decided to try to have a conversation to see if I was dealing with bots or not.
This is where I introduce you to the concept of coins. You get 100 to start and you need them to send messages. Whether you’re starting a conversation or replying to a message, you’ll need to spend 50 coins.
You’re looking at $10 per 500 coins with some respectable discounts when you buy big amounts. Personally, though, I find this system to be unnecessarily expensive.
Are the Messaging Capabilities Real
Will you ever be communicating with a real person that has an existing account or is it going to be a bunch of bots? I’m pretty sure that there’s a mixture of the two going on with Qwikmeet. Why do I say that?
First, the amount of attention I was getting for no reason was a bit ridiculous. You don’t go onto a dating site and a bunch of people start messaging you for no reason. That’s usually a tactic meant to give you a dopamine hit so you stick around.
Additionally, the moment you see some of these messages, you know you’re dealing with fake profiles. However, that’s not everyone. Some of these people have a custom bio with basic information that makes sense and talking to them tells you all you need to know. They’re just as human as you are.
However, I wasn’t able to get any of the other members to share their contact details with me. I understand trying to stay safe, but under normal circumstances, once people loosen up and get comfortable with you, they’ll give you their number or social media handles at least.
Something tells me the people I was talking to were hired by Qwikmeet to make members feel a human connection and keep spending coins. I hope I’m wrong, but any evidence to the contrary is sorely lacking!
What Are User Profiles Like?
Like any dating site, Qwikmeet allows you to set up a profile, which is supposed to help you connect with people based on its quality. I think the extent to which you’re allowed to customize profiles and let people know who you are and what you’re about makes a huge difference on platforms where there are real people.
As far as Qwikmeet goes, I like the fact that you have the standard picture and custom bio options, but you can also throw in a video if you choose. Note that there are no private profiles, so anyone on Qwikmeet can see yours.
Interestingly, you can invite people to Qwikmeet. Personally, if I’m trying to get down with someone I already know in real life or on another platform, I’m not sure why I would bring them to a random online dating app, but I guess the feature is nice to have.
Even though profiles are public, not everything you enter has to be shared if you don’t want it to be. You could hide your photos or even your location info, for example.
Bear in mind that even if you share your location, you’re not telling anyone exactly where you are. Instead, people will be able to tell how far away you are from them in miles.
Security and Safety Features
If there’s one thing Qwikmeet wants you to know, it’s that it wants the user base to feel as safe and secure as possible. This is another weird area for me.
What’s the best way to put this? The site says it does a lot, but it’s really hard to verify. For example, there’s supposedly anti-bot technology and fake account detection, but multiple “people” are sending messages, and one look at what they say and their profile info just screams fake.
There’s also a multifactor authentication mechanism, which I never bothered testing because, for some reason, it’s not mandatory, which kind of defeats the whole purpose. That being said, I always tell people to use it when available on any website since it does help to prevent unauthorized access to your account.
I will say that having the option is still a step in the right direction as is SSL encryption and the informational steps taken to help you preserve your privacy.
While there are a couple of questionable elements, I think the security side of things is respectable all in all.
The Registration Process
I can confirm that this is one of the easier registration processes I’ve dealt with in my time. Who wants to spend a decade signing up to have some fun with an online dating site?
It starts with a download of the app or dropping onto the website. Once you decide to sign up, you’ll be asked for your age and email address. As all good adult sites should, it requires a minimum age of 18.
Note that you can choose to log in with an existing social media account such as your Facebook account, but for separation and security, I advise against it.
To complete the creation of your account, you’ll need to set up the username and password that you’ll be using whenever you log in. I know I already did the security section but I have to commend Qwikmeet for the password policy that requires at least one capital letter, one number, and a special character.
You’ll need to agree to the terms of service and then there’ll be an identity verification element.
Is the Customer Support Team Responsive?
The support team is not the most responsive in the world. Email and phone are your only options and email responses will only come between 9 AM – 5 PM EST Mondays – Fridays. That wouldn’t be such a problem if the response time guarantee wasn’t 24 hours. Trust me, that team will use that 24-hour window.
At least you have phone numbers you can call too but don’t expect to always get a response. The Qwikmeet team also set up a knowledge base to help you find your way around but it leaves quite a bit to be desired.

The Verdict – Qwik Meet Is Not The Best Option
Whether it’s for a one-night stand or a casual relationship, there are a ton of sites out there that you can use to find potential partners. However, I don’t think Qwikmeet is one that I’d recommend.
First, it’s too expensive just to talk to people. Why do I have to pay 50 coins per message when it’s $10 for 500?
Next, it has a too-good-to-be-true vibe to it. There’s no way a bunch of super attractive people saw my new, barely customized profile, and wanted me that badly in such a short time.
On that note, I can tell that some of them are bots, but others are very much human. The problem is that I can’t figure out if there are people on the site looking for a match or staff members trying to entice users to stick around.
The latter seems highly likely since no matter what, getting someone to take the conversation off the platform seems next to impossible.
Is Qwikmeet legit? Honestly, there are just too many red flags for me to think it is. I think your time would be better spent elsewhere.
