Summary of Married But Lonely Dating Site Experience

Married But Lonely is supposed to be a hookup site for people seeking discreet married dating affairs. Despite what you think of these types of dating sites, they are out there and so is the demand for an outlet for married people who want to hook up with strangers. The question is, does Married But Lonely work?

Well, after trying the site for myself, I can tell you that it’s not even real. Sure, you can live the illusion that you are interacting with people to cheat on your spouse with, but the real people you interact with on this site are few and far between. Read my full review below and I will tell you why you should stay away from this site.

Full Review And How to Sign Up

On the main page of Married But Lonely, indicate whether you are a single male, married male, lonely wife or a couple. Indicate who you are looking for, your age range and the country you live in.

After that you are taken to a screen that asks you to choose a screen name, password and enter a valid e-mail address. After clicking “submit profile” you are in and you can finish your profile or browse for free. This is the extent of what you are going to be able to do for free. It claims to be a free hookup site, but you are not allowed to interact with any of the users until you pay.

Even after you pay, you will see that all the messages that you are now able to send and receive never go anywhere. They are mostly either outright fake, computer generated profiles or people trying to scam you.

Membership Info

Over 60% of users on MarriedButLonely.com are male and only a little less than 40% are female. The members are almost three quarters Caucasian with a fourth of them African American. The average income of users is $150,000 a year and that largest age demographic is 35 to 44.

Membership Costs

MarriedButLonely claims to be free, but they ask you to sign up for a paid membership when you attempt to communicate via messaging. They have a 3 day trial membership for $1.87 and you will automatically be charged every month, once your trial membership is over. The monthly charge is $34.95 and wll continue to be taken out of your account until you cancel. You will continue to receive fake messages during your 3 day trial. They will try to string you along for a full upgrade.

Best Site Features

Some of the best features of MarriedButLonely are the live video chat rooms, instant messaging and the wives rating system. Unfortunately, these features don’t do you much good when you never get to speak to any lonely wives. The features are just there to draw you in and make you think it’s a real hookup site, but it’s mostly just another scam.

My Experience

For the sake of the review; I tried it for a full month even though red flags were going up left and right that this site was a scam. During my first 3 days, I received quite a few messages. Most of them were easy to tell that they were automated. I would not get a straight answer to any of the responses I sent.

I believe that I actually talked to one girl who was real, but she ended up stalling and stringing me along until my trial membership was over. Soon, I suspected she was an employee of the site and I was right because I didn’t hear from her again once I paid for the first month. This is a typical scam hookup site every step of the way and does nothing different to stand out or give the user any kind of legitimate experience.

Customer Support

Married But Lonely uses an outside company to handle their customer service inquiries called Eservice27. Call their 24/7 phone support line at 1-866-604-3130 or chat with a rep live. They have a separate button if you want to cancel. After clicking it, you enter your subscription ID, credit card number and e-mail address.

Conclusion – Married But Lonely Is A Scam And Not Worth Your Time

I don’t have much hope for Married But Lonely being legit because it looks and feels like a scam site from the moment you log in. They admit to their fraudulent practices in their terms of service where they let you know that they use fake profiles and computer automated messages. They claim that they do it for your entertainment but I think that’s bullshit.
