iHeartbreaker Review: Does This Dating Network Rip Users Off? Find Out Now!
One thing that many forget is just how nerve-wracking using free online dating services can be. When you start using online dating to find a date, you will soon realize that the market is saturated. There is an endless supply of dating apps and sites that claim to offer the best service in the business. One of the many sites that are fighting for your membership is iHeartbreaker. The reality of all these online dating sites is that most of them are not legit.
There are a handful of apps that work, but many of them are part of a network of dating services that use the same methods to pull you in and convince you to pay for their service. Meanwhile, you never get to talk to any real women. This site seemed promising with features like a QuickMatch system, but I was skeptical about its validity right away. Read my report below and you will see that I had reason to be skeptical.
iHeartbreaker Isn’t What You Think, Here’s Why!
The main page is quite simple, but relatively nice looking with what seems to be a professional photo of a hot model. This model is used to basically lure you in, as is a slideshow of supposed members going across the bottom. If you don’t let the photos distract you, you will see your first reason to avoid this site. There is a button that says Get Started Now FREE below the boxes where you enter your username, password, e-mail, zip code, and age. Above this button is a sentence that mentions something called Fantasy Cuties. Never trust a site that uses this term.
They tell you, in this sentence, that these Fantasy Cuties may contact you for entertainment services. If you’re wondering exactly what they are, just hover over the words with your mouse. A paragraph will appear explaining that they are profiles operated by independent contractors. They are supposedly provided for your entertainment pleasure and to enhance online companionship, but who wants to join a dating site just to talk to fake women with no chance of ever meeting anyone real?
The use of Fantasy Cuties is usually enough to turn me away from a dating site, but I wanted to investigate further to see if there were any other signs of a fraud. I also wanted to see if I could find any real women at all. After entering a username, password, e-mail, zip code, and age range, I had to retrieve a pin number from my e-mail to activate my account.
The moment I activated my account, I was taken to the payment page and I saw that the site was not 100% free like they claim to be. You must pay before you can message other members or use the matchmaking service. A 3-day limited trial membership is available for $2.97 per day and you are limited to 10 profile views and messages per day. The monthly membership fee is $29.95 and you will be automatically charged for a full month at the end of your 3-day trial. You can get a membership for $16.65 a month if you pay for 3 months and $11.65 a month if you pay for 6 months. All of these charges are recurring and will be taken out of your account at the end of every billing cycle unless you cancel.
They didn’t even have to tell me that they used Fantasy Cuties because I could tell by the profiles in the gallery on the main page that they were fake. Not to mention, the terms speak volumes and they lay it all out here.
When every woman is hotter than the last and many of them look like models, just run like the wind. This is one of those situations where it is simply too good to be true. I know that there are a lot of hot women in my area, but this was not realistic. That is a major mistake that a lot of these sites make. They try to lure you in with gorgeous profiles but don’t realize that the fraud is going to be obvious to anyone who knows anything about online dating. It’s a shame that iHeartbreaker.com didn’t turn out to be a good dating site because I did like the Quickie Match feature.
