The casual relationship dating era has emerged and it’s here to stay. However, in 2016 it’s a whole lot different than it was even in the early 2000’s. Things have changed, the way we meet people has changed and the things we should and should not do have changed as well. That especially goes for people that are over 30 years of age. THE DO’S
Ask Someone Out
It’s 2016 and if you are over thirty years of age, then you shouldn’t be afraid to ask someone out. I don’t care if you’re a guy or a girl. You better stop waiting and just take some damn action. What the hell are you waiting for really? It’s no longer necessary or politically correct or incorrect to do one or the other. Just do it.
Keep An Open Mind
You also must be sure to keep an open mind in any casual relationship. Those that keep an open mind get laid more often. They also go on more dates and have more fun. Yes, those are definitely known facts.
Be Vocal About Your Intentions
You must be upfront with whoever you are going on a casual date with and let them know what your intentions are. If you just want to get laid, then let them know. If you want something more serious, share that with them too. Just be honest and vocal with your intentions.
Be Really Nice
Being a dickhead is no longer acceptable. Even with strange girls. You must be really nice and the older you get, the nicer you have to be when it comes to a casual relationship or even plain old dating in your thirties. Nice guys do get laid. I do all the time and I’m nice.
THE DON’TS
Don’t Expect Him To Pay
If you’re a guy, don’t expect to have to pay. Girls today can hold their own and they are very capable of earning a living. They have money to spend on you so let them. Women shouldn’t expect men to pay. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t pay. I’m just saying it should not be expected.
Don’t Be More Than A Few Minutes Late
We are all super busy today and time is of the essence. If you want to get laid, then I suggest you show up on time. With everything so fast paced and dating apps at the fingertips of all, you may lose your chance if you’re too late.
Don’t Dress Too Casual
If you’re going out on a casual date, you should try and dress for success. That means dress to get lucky and don’t dress like a slob.
Don’t Drink Too Much
Lastly, do not drink too much. If you do, there’s a good chance you’re going to look like an asshole, especially if you’re in your thirties. Just be smart and enjoy yourself.
Those are the rules and if you can’t stick to them then you’re not going to get lucky as much as you could in your 30’s.
